Dr. Mustafa Hasnain, beside obtaining his medical degree, has a background in clinical research, medical education and healthcare administration, and has successfully managed projects related to quality improvement, efficiency, cost savings and education within operational and service lines. He has worked with organizational leaders and staff reviewing operational and service lines to identify areas of opportunity to improve efficiency or expand services. He helped design and implement cost-saving and cost-avoidance initiatives, develop research protocol for quality improvement initiative, conduct pilot study, and implement changes within service lines. He helped maintain financial accountability for hospital by ensuring judicious utilization of organizational resources by implementation of best practice guidelines in healthcare delivery to patients. He helped establish new platform and method for improved communication and facilitation of team work and timely completion of assigned departmental tasks. Dr. Hasnain has done substantial research related to health services, health economics and clinical outcomes following his passion to contribute to medical academia that ultimately serves and benefits our patients.
